地區九: 香港仔 ‘Is this Hong Kong Boy?’

例如:「He shivered with cold in his thin cotton shirt.」(他只穿著薄薄的棉布襯衫,凍得瑟縮發抖。) 另外,歌詞中有一句「On the backseat in the moonlit dark」,「Moonlit」的意思是月光照耀下而看到的景象,是不是很有畫面呢? 2. Adele《Easy On Me》 筆者想解釋一下歌名《Easy On Me》,中譯可以是「手下留情」、「對我好一點」。 「There ain’t no room for things to change.」 Ain’t = am not、is not、are not、has not或have not的縮寫形式,這是一個比較口語的用法。 「I had good intentions」,intention解作意圖、打算。 例子:「She simply slipped my mind; it wasn’t my intention to leave her off the list.」(我只是一時忘記了她;我無意將她排除在名單之外。) 3. Charlie Puth《Left And Right》 這首歌邀請了南韓人氣男團BTS隊員Jung Kook一同拍攝。 「Your love stays with me day and night.」(你的愛伴我度過日日夜夜),沒想過簡單的day and night已經有這個效果。 「The nights we were tangled up in your bed.」(我們在你床上纏綿的那些夜晚); 「You take up every corner of my mind.」(你佔據了我腦海所有角落)是不是很有感覺呢? 4. 「We talked around in circles.」(我們兜著圈說話); 「You gave everything this golden glows.」(你為所有事物增添光芒); 「You could turn my sorrow into a songs.」(你可以把我的悲傷化成歌。) 「The sorrows of his earlier years gave way to joy in later life.」(他早年歷經坎坷,晚年卻快樂無憂。)
