Speaking死梗？Speaking全靠睇運氣？
哎呀，好驚Speaking啊，係咪又要鬥快搶第一個講嘢？
與同學練習多幾次speaking就可以進步？
曾經有一位2023的DSE考生講述自己在考場的經歷。
當時的他以為只要爭取第一位發言和更多次的發言機會就可以在考官心目中加分，令表現更突出，自然能獲取更好的成績，可惜事實並不是如此。
現在將會向大家講解如何令自己的speaking起死回生。
1. 大聲地說話
大聲地說話可以令考官覺得你表現得自信，從而增加印象分。另外不知大家知道DSE Speaking考試中其中一項評分標準是決定於你的說話聲量嗎？不是要你說話大聲到令其他考生甚至考官都覺得你很嘈吵，而是要令在座的同學和考官都能夠清楚聽得到你說話，從而令他們更容易理解你在表達什麼。如果因為你說話的聲量太小，考官聽不到你說話，自然對你的印象會比較低，你的成績亦會隨之變得低分。另外，你說話夠大聲，他們可以聽到你說什麼，考生給你的回應比較多的時候，自然你跟其他考生的互動更多，令你在另一項評分標準communication strategies就能夠加分，成績自然就會得到提升。
2. 發言的時候需要提供合理的推理和解釋
即使你在說話考試中不能成為第一個發言人，也沒有關係。只要你每次說話都是有說服力，你的看法能夠令考官覺得你表現得出色，那麼發言的次序並不會成問題。你可能會擔心其他考生爭取到更多的發言次數，而自己就可能在8分鐘內只是發言了兩次。曾經有兩位DSE考生在考試完畢後反應當時自己的情況，第一位考生就在考試中有四次的發言，而第二位考生只是發言了兩次，但是到最後，第二位的說話成績是好過第一位的成績，而這是因為第二位考生有更具說服力的發言。而如何令自己的發言更有說服力呢？其實只是需要合理的推理和解釋就可以。如果你的看法夠特別，令考官覺得你表現得好，那麼當然成績也會隨之提高。若果你只是在「吹水」，或說一些「阿媽是女人」的廢話，或不斷重複自己所說的說話，那麼你的成績亦不會高分到哪裡。
3. 發言需要特別注意用詞
很多人可能會覺得考DSE speaking應該要用很多深字，但是你有想過其他考官聽得懂你在說什麼嗎？有沒有想過如果你說了一些連考官都未必聽得明白的special terms，或你不適當地使用這些深字，考官又怎會在那項vocabulary and language patterns的評分標準加分呢？無可否認在DSE speaking中的確需要用一些靚字靚句，但是亦要懂得怎樣用，並不是很死板地將深字應用在說話的句子當中。以下有一些讓大家明白怎樣用詞的例子。

It is essential to provide a real life scenario that exemplifies the benefits of your proposal. This helps your audience visualise the potential outcomes and increases their understanding and buy-in. By incorporating relevant examples, you can enhance the impact of your communication and ensure that your point is well-received.

當你想表達你的看法時，便可形容這句句子，因為opine的意思與think的意思相近，所以opine可以直接代替think來使用
I opine that fostering a culture of open communication and cooperation within organisations is essential for driving innovation, enhancing employee satisfaction, and achieving long-term success.
