令你輕鬆過渡
喺group discussion入面好多時都會有多過一條問題要考生們討論
咁呢個時候就好需要一個過渡嘅地方
同學仔通常都只會話” Let’s move on to the next point/ question about…”
其實有幾個步驟可以令你做得更好
- 小總結
– 歸立所有考生啱先所講嘅論點，你就已經贏咗一半
e.g. So far, we all agree that…
e.g. We have come up with several reasons/ benefits.
- 提出疑問
– 因為你想move on 嘅時間點，可能仲有考生未發表完
– 所以提出疑問，可以表示返你所做嘅嘢唔係一意孤行，而係有關心到其他考生
e.g. Does anyone have anything to add before we move on to the next point?
- 引導其他人討論新問題
– 當你做完第3步驟，發現冇人有補充，你就可以帶出下一個要討論嘅話題
e.g. Great! let’s move on to discuss…
- 個人意見
- 拋波 (問yes/ no question)
– Step 4同5嘅次序唔可以倒轉
– 千萬不要引導話題之後就叫人地發表
– 一定要自己講咗先

有啲麻煩嘅考生好中意搶話語權，但佢地又講錯矖啲嘢
咁呢個時候你可以點算呢
- 你要回應咗對方先
e.g. Well, I get what you mean. However, it occurs to me that …..
- 重新自己立場
e.g. The reason why I think… is that…
- 表達自己唔係強硬要佢接受
e.g. But it’s ok if you insist. I’ll go along with it, because…
– we still have several important points to discuss.
4句打擊離題考生
有啲同學可能係緊張，會有睇錯題目嘅問題出現
咁你遇到呢啲同學千祈唔好由佢死
因為group discussion 係小組命運共同體嚟㗎！
因應唔同程度㨂返唔同嘅句子用啦！
- Yeah, I see what you mean/ It’s true that…, but we’re supposed to talk about… So let’s go back to the topic for the time being.
- I get your point, but let’s not stray too far from our topic.
- That seems to be an intriguing point, but let’s stick to the topic.
4. Sorry for interrupting, Candidate X. It’s great that you’re sharing your comments on… with us, but we’re supposed to be talking about… first.

但點樣有技巧啲咁講呢？
- Talking/ Speaking of…
- On the subject of…
- We are talking about an earlier point…

2個Group discussion注意事項
除咗以上嘅技巧同句式，考speaking嘅時候仲有啲一定要留意嘅位
1. 要貼地啲
– 好多同學當睇到題目話要諗活動嘅時候，就好似發咗癲咁將自己想像嘅活動講出嚟
– 但咁樣就好容易令到個活動留於空想或者係太誇張，唔真實
– 其實考官都好睇重活動嘅可行性 (Feasibility)
– 如果你亂講佢都可以扣你 Idea & Organization 分
– 如果你要嘅隊友講得誇張咗，你就可以好似以下嘅例子咁
e.g. Considering our time and resources, we may not be able to organize a competition big enough for all districts. Shall we invite-only schools in our district, and only secondary schools?
2. 覺得自己冇能力搞得掂，可以揾其他Organization
– 同學有時可能太投入係題目所比嘅角色
– 令到佢地覺得唔可以揾佢身處嘅機構以外嘅人嚟幫手
– 但其實有啲活動的確係需要跨機構合作
– 千祈唔好轉牛角尖，諗住點樣可以一手包辦
e.g. Hey guys, speaking of Cantopop, shall we have a Cantonese opera performance in the school hall? Cantonese opera is a unique culture of Hong Kong and can surely arouse the memories of the older generations. Let’s invite the Drama Club to do the performance, or cooperate with Cantonese opera groups in other community centres, shall we?
