1. Oh, have you heard of xxx?
Oh, have you heard of the trade war?” 另外,就算朋友之間亦很可以說 “Oh, have you heard of the new project launched next month?”,然後再延伸話題。
句式2. How did you get into xxx?
例: How did you get into the xx industry/field?
How did you get into the banking industry? Which banker inspires you the most?”
句式3. Hey, what’s up?
比如說 “What’s up John, how are you doing today?” “Are you ready for the party tonight?”
4. What’s your story?
5. Wow, this looks awesome. Where did you get it?
Oh I like you bag – where did you get it?”
Practice makes perfect!
Good morning! Even though we always have coffee at the same time, we have never spoken. My name is [Your Name].
Hello, how are you today? My name is [Your Name]. I’m still learning English so please let me know if I make any mistakes.
Hello Angela, We met last year at Tom’s Christmas party; you might not remember me. I’m [Your Name].
This weather is crazy! It was cold yesterday and today I came in with an open jacket. I hope it stays warm, don’t you?
Beautiful day, isn’t it?
It looks like it’s going to rain.
How was your day? / How has your day been so far?
Did you catch the news today?
What have you been doing today?
How did you become a [job title]?
What was your first job? Did you like it?
What a busy day. This is the first time I’ve gotten up from my seat all day! Are you busy too?

Do you have any podcast suggestions?
I adore your shoes today, they perfectly complete your look.
Have you seen? The break room’s air conditioning was finally fixed. It hasn’t worked properly in about a month!
Hey Penny, your cupcakes last night were delicious! Thank you for making them for the party
Where would you travel if you could fly anywhere at no cost?
Where’s the last place you traveled? What did you do there?
